Subjective prerequisites for the manifestation of procrastination in students technical university

Introduction. Modern living conditions require a person to be mobile, have high level of self-organization, the ability act quickly in uncertainty, and able competently organize their work. Penetrating into all processes human life, information technologies cause an increasing severity phenomenon procrastination youth environment. The purpose study is relationship with personal characteristics methods self-organization activities students technical university. Materials methods. was conducted on basis St. Petersburg State University Architecture Civil Engineering (N = 114), using diagnostic tools: questionnaire «Degree severity» by M. A. Kiseleva, N. E. Shustova, O.V. Karina, «Self-organization activity» (OSD) Yu. Mandrikova, «Big Five», BFI-2 R. McCrae, P. Costa. used mathematical statistics: Kolmogorov-Smirnov criterion, correlation analysis, factorial Student's t-test. Results. It revealed that university indicators selforganization activity at average level. Significantly significant differences between boys girls were found. In group girls, higher than men (tcrit=3,6; p=0,01), anxiety also (tcrit=4,2; negative emotionality prevails (tcrit= 5,0; p=0.001), aesthetic sense more developed (tcrit=3,8; p=0,01). Young demonstrate purposefulness (tcrit=-2,3; p=0,05) perseverance achieving goals (tcrit=-2,1; p=0,05). There procrastination, selfregulation characteristics. To greater extent, student's caused motivational insufficiency, conscientiousness. Conclusion. As result study, it proved young people determined underdevelopment skills for self-regulation activities. view fact many are aware problem there need targeted work correction prevention procrastination.
